- If the jar file is opening as computer code:
- Click once on the jar file to highlight it
- Go to the “File” menu at the top of your screen
- Select “Get Info” from the drop down menu
- Go to “Open With”
- Select the drop down arrows in the “Open With” box
- Select “Other” from the drop down menu
- Select “Macintosh HD” (which is your hard drive, unless you named it something else)
- Select “System”
- Select “Library”
- Select “Core Services”
- Highlight “Jar Launcher”
- If the “Jar Launcher” is not highlighted
- Go to the “Enable” box toward the bottom of the screen
- Select “All Applications”
- Select “Jar Launcher”
- Check the “Always Open With” box
- Click “Add”
- Check the “Always Open With” box
- Click “Add”
- 256 MB of free RAM

Q: How does it work? (Recorded Session)
A: Simply select the recorded session by adding it to your shopping cart. Follow the instructions to purchase the webinar. Select the appropriate file to download; WMV or MP4. Then select the ‘Additional Files’ to download presentation slides, video links, or any supplement information to complement your webinar experience. Please keep in mind if you have not registered for the session and are purchasing the recorded version, you have 7 days to download the file from the date of purchase.

Q: How much is a webinar?
A: Live webinars are $29.95 and the recorded sessions are $34.95. All pre-registrants have access to download the recorded session at no extra cost.

Q: How many CEUs do I receive?
A: Viewing live or recorded webinar sessions are worth 0.1 CEU for each one hour session. You have the option of taking a webinar quiz and once you pass this quiz you will receive an additional 0.5 CEU.

Q: How much is a webinar quiz?
A: NSCA members who are NSCA certified pay nothing to take a webinar quiz. Otherwise, the cost of a webinar quiz is just $20.

Q: How do I report my webinar earned CEUs?
A: All attendees are responsible for reporting their CEUs. Webinar attendees receive 0.1 CEU that should be reported in Category A qualifying for Recertified with Distinction CEUs. Should you take and pass a webinar quiz, you receive 0.5 CEU in Category B.

Q: Something has come up and I will not be available during the webinar’s scheduled time. How can I participate?
A: If you have schedule conflicts, the live session will be recorded. All pre-registered attendees will have access to download the session at no additional cost. Information regarding its recorded download will be available by close of business the next business day or sooner. You will receive an email with instructions regarding how you can download the recorded session onto your computer. The recorded webinar will be available for all pre-registered attendees at no additional cost for approximately five business days from when it originally aired.

Q: Why are presentation slides available for some webinars and not for others?
A: This is up to the discretion of the presenter. Depending on their preference, they may or may not make their slide presentations available to download.

A: All webinars are recorded and all registrants will have access to download or view the session soon after the live presentation at no additional cost. You will receive an email regarding its availability by close of business the following day or sooner.

A: There are two opportunities to earn CEUs. By attending a webinar, you receive 0.1 CEU. You may also take the associated quizzes for an additional 0.5 CEU per quiz. If you are an NSCA member and NSCA certified, there is not cost for the quiz. Otherwise, the cost per quiz is $20.

Q: Is there an opportunity for me to ask the presenter questions?
A: The last ten minutes of the webinar session is allotted for questions and answers. All participants are invited to submit their questions using the chat function. We will try our best to answer your questions during that time. We will also provide an email address to where you can submit inquiries in the event that we cannot answer them live.
