NSCA - Performance Analysis Video

Using Dartfish® Video Analysis Software, the NSCA will feature a new training tip each month. This state of the art software enables coaches, trainers, and teams to capture a lift, movement, or an entire game and receive instant feedback, from an integrated video clip.

The Bench Press is a multi-joint exercise commonly used to strengthen the muscles of the upper body (Pectorals, Anterior Deltoids, and Triceps). The bench press is often utilized to develop the strength necessary for many pushing motions in sports and daily activities.

For most non-explosive exercises performed over the head or face one or more spotters are required in order to maximize safety. It is the spotter’s responsibility to be in a position where they can catch the bar or assist in lifting the bar if necessary.
