About the Performance Center

Facilities

The NSCA's Performance Center facilities and the programs conducted fall under the direction of Dr. Carwyn Sharp who oversees the Education Department and Boyd Epley, Founder of the NSCA and former University of Nebraska Strength Coach.

Coaching

The National Strength and Conditioning Association is dedicated to empowering the strength coach. Acting as a coach advocate, the Coaching Performance Department aims to educate and train coaches to apply evidence based knowledge to assess, motivate, educate, and train athletes for the primary goal of improving sport performance.

Personal Trainers

Personal trainers, fitness enthusiasts, NSCA-CPTs and CSPSs can enjoy the personal trainers program and services. The NSCA hosts an annual Personal Trainers Conference and is a partner in the National Activity Plan.


Meet the Performance Team

Located at the NSCA World Headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO, the NSCA Performance Team is comprised entirely of certified coaches who are either Registered Strength and Conditioning Coaches (RSCC) or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS).

Intern at the Performance Center!

Interested in working with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)? Join us as an Intern at our state-of-the-art Performance Center located at NSCA headquarters. The NSCA offers three strength and conditioning internships three times per year to qualified candidates.

Pursue an NSCA Assistantship

Are you a young professional looking to further your career? The NSCA offers up to five student assistantships each year to qualified candidates. Students who are awarded an assistantship will have an opportunity to work with an experienced strength and conditioning coach who has earned the NSCA Registered Coach Distinction.
