I will be earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science
next month from North Central College located in Naperville, Illinois. Upon
graduation, I will be studying for my CSCS exam which I will be taking this
spring. I wish to work in the fields of strength & condition and/or human
performance. Prior to attending North Central College, I attended Waubonsee
Community College located in Sugar Grove, Illinois where I earned a certificate
in fire fighting. During my first term at North Central College, I heard about
Tactical Strength and Conditioning and instantly was interested in combining
both fields of my education together.

Since TSAC is a newer area, I am looking for further
information about this area of strength and conditioning with specifics
pertaining to any further education including that of the TSAC-F, the
popularity of TSAC through each state’s firefighting fitness programs, and ways
of getting hired by city departments.

Any information provided would be greatly appreciated as I
hope to become more involved in this area of fitness.
