After I read the textbook, I thought that doing the Practice Test then researching the questions that I got wrong to be the most helpful. Please keep in mind that I have not received my results yet. I also found the material in the workbook and tapes to be helpful.

Hello Richard,

I am currently studying and taking the practice exams. I noticed that the practice exams were printed in 2010 and the text that I purchased (from the NSCA) was printed in 2012. I am curious, what year was your text printed? I ask because the reference locations in the back of the exams do not match my book and it is making it hella hard to further research the questions I missed. Due to the different editions it makes me wonder if some of the questions have been revised and now have different answers. Ay yi yi!

Thank you,

C.H.

Hi C.H.

I hadn't checked this post for a while. My practice exams are from May 2010. My textbook, Essentials of Personal Training says copyright 2004, I didn't see a print date. And Exercise Manual for resistance Training Second Edition copyright 2008. Good luck.
