2008 International Index Championship

On July 9th, 2008 athletes from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, and the United States came together in Las Vegas Nevada to compete in the first ever NSCA International Index Competition. NSCA Index scoring is based on a decathlon type scoring system where athletes receive points based on their performance for the Vertical Jump, Pro-Agility Run, Ten Yard Dash, and Hang Clean. Body weight is also taken into consideration and there is a separate Index for both men and women.
Awards were given to the top Index scores for each of the events as well as the International Index Champion. This being the first ever competition of its kind, the scores are considered the NSCA International Index Records to beat for next year. Click here to view the International Record board .
